Frisco Still Under Stage 3 Drought Restrictions

Frisco moved to 'STAGE 3' DROUGHT RESTRICTIONS on Tuesday, November 1. The city's water supplier, the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD), reports Lavon Lake could be dry by fall 2012, under worse case conditions.

Residents are urged to 'Turn Off' their sprinkler systems. Lawns and landscaping need little to no water. Leaving the sprinkler system turned off is the best way to stop unnecessary waste.

If needed, water using a hand-held hose for your trees and shrubs and use soaker hoses around the foundation for no more than two hours a day. Sprinkler system use is limited to your RESIDENTIAL TRASH COLLECTION DAY, if necessary. There are no ‘time of day’ restrictions.

CLICK HERE TO VIEW OUR DROUGHT AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN GUIDE.

For questions or concerns about the drought restrictions, contact the Public Works Department at 972-292-5800 or PUBLICWORKS@FRISCOTEXAS.GOV.
